In The Valley - Day 5

Jodie answered the door; it was Rob.
"Where in the hell have you been? I've been all alone all day thanks to you." It was dark and she squinted in the porch light. Her hair was half put up, like when she slept.
"Nice pajamas," remarked Rob, in a particularly strange way.
"Seriously Rob. Where did you go?"
"Well, John and I were star gazing on Mack Hill, next to the valley, you know? We saw what we thought was a a shooting star, but it was getting bigger and bigger and moving faster and faster towards us. Then everything around us was aflame with light, and it crashed in to the valley. But it didn't make any noise or rumble the ground. Obviously we went to investigate when-"
"What was it?"
"Hold on, just let me tell it! We went to check it out and when we got close to where it landed, and there was just this big molten hole in the ground, like it went straight through, and then we saw the bear. It was staring at us, and was standing next to the hole. It walked up to us, took of it's sunglasses, and said 'Dear occupants of this land, I halfgastle you.' John said 'What the fu-' before he finished the bear mauled him and dragged him down the red hole. I ran all the way home. and I'm really wigged out right now. Can we kiss?"
"Was it an alien?"
They kiss.

In The Valley - Day 4

Jodie answered the door; it was Rob.
"Where in the hell have you been? I've been all alone all day thanks to you."
"The Valley flooded; I barely made it back." Rob was soaked, and made a point of clutching Jodie to him to make sure that she knew how wet he was.
"Why'd you wander out there? You knew it was going to storm." Jodie untangled herself from Rob's embrace and went to find a towel.
"I thought I heard a car." Rob peeled off his shirt.
Jodie returned and tossed Rob the towel she had found.
"Was there a car?"
"Nope, so I tried to leave the Valley and start a new life without you."
Rob padded his torso with the towel and tousled his hair.
"I almost made it until it started raining."
Rob threw the towel over Jodie's head and sat down and began removing his shoes.
"I wish you drowned on the way back, asshole." Jodie threw the towel on the floor and grudgingly pinched the shirt and threw it into the next room.
"I'll never try to leave again." Rob stood barefoot. "Kiss and make up?"
"I might drown if you kiss me, just shut up and dry yourself off."
They kiss.

In The Valley - Day 3

Jodie answered the door; it was Rob.
"Where in the hell have you been? I've been all alone all day thanks to you."
"I just came from the Valley; I found something." Rob looked askance at the knife in Jodie's right hand.
"What did you find?" She gasped, shifting the knife into her left, "What is it?"
Rob pushed past her into the kitchen, grabbed the sandwich Jodie had made for herself and swallowed nearly half in the first bite.
"Can you keep a secret?" He stared at the ceiling.
"You know I can't."
"Then shut the hell up."
Jodie sighed and placed the knife on the counter.
"You don't have to be a dick."
"You are what you eat; can we kiss and make up?"
"Not with my sandwich in your hand."
They kiss.

In The Valley - Day 2

Jodie answered the door. It was Rob.
"Where in the hell have you been? I've been all alone all day thanks to you."
"I was in the Valley." Rob didn't look too truthful.
"Dammit Rob, don't you lie to me."
"Ok, ok. I was buying you this," He showed her a middle finger from his pocket.
"You're such an asshole."
"Can we kiss and make up?"
"I never want to see you again."
They kiss.

In the Valley - Day 1

Jodie answered the door. It was Rob.
"Where in the hell have you been? I've been all alone all day thanks to you."
"I was fighting off man eating bats in the valley. They got John though. Ate his head clean off." Rob was breathing hard as if he'd been running.
"Shit."
"It was his own fault."
"Of course it was."
"Can you forgive me?"
"Of course I can."
"....can we kiss and make up?"
"You're covered in bat blood."
They kiss.
